Violencia Digital<\/h3>\n

Hoy son 10 estados los que han modificado sus leyes para castigar la violencia digital, entre los que destacan Jalisco,\u00a0 Yucat\u00e1n, Zacatecas, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Oaxaca,\u00a0<\/strong> y m\u00e1s recientemente el Estado de M\u00e9xico.<\/strong> Mientras que en la CDMX<\/strong>, se sigue esperando la tipificaci\u00f3n al respecto.<\/p>\n

Hablamos de la Ley Olimpia<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Ley Olimpia fue nombrada en honor a Olimpia Coral Melo<\/strong>, quien se volvi\u00f3 activista tras la difusi\u00f3n de un video sexual suyo, sin su autorizaci\u00f3n, que la oblig\u00f3 a enfrentar problemas sociales y falta de apoyo de autoridades.<\/p>\n

S<\/span>oy Olimpia, pero dej\u00e9 de serlo cuando subieron un video a Facebook. Ahora soy explotada virtualmente como la \u2018Gordibuena de Huauchinango\u2019\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A consecuencia de un video \u00edntimo que la joven se grab\u00f3 con su ex pareja<\/span>, y que luego circular\u00eda en las redes sociales y que someter\u00edan a Olimpia a vivir la peor pesadilla de su vida, a sus 18 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las im\u00e1genes se viralizaron en la regi\u00f3n donde viv\u00eda, despu\u00e9s alcanzaron cuatro pa\u00edses m\u00e1s. Olimpia luch\u00f3 in\u00fatilmente contra \u201clikes\u201d, \u201cshares\u201d y el juicio de un sinf\u00edn de desconocidos.<\/p>\n

\u201cMujer promesa de Huauchinango exhibida en redes sociales\u201d, fue el encabezado de una nota que apareci\u00f3 en una publicaci\u00f3n de circulaci\u00f3n municipal, pues la joven destacada en oratoria y debate, que incluso hab\u00eda representado a Puebla a nivel internacional, ahora era parte del contenido sexual de dichas plataformas.<\/p>\n

El acudir al ministerio p\u00fablico fue el inicio de la pesadilla para Olimpia. Le pidieron el video como \u201cprueba del delito\u201d y al no poder comprobar qui\u00e9n hab\u00eda sido el responsable de subirlo, no hab\u00eda entonces culpable que perseguir.<\/p>\n

Porque ella \u201cse hab\u00eda dejado grabar\u201d, de acuerdo al juicio de las autoridades.<\/p>\n

Esa situaci\u00f3n que a muchas incluso les ha llegado a costar la vida, ella lo convirti\u00f3 en su causa de lucha, por ella y por todas las dem\u00e1s. En 2014 elabor\u00f3 y logr\u00f3 subir a discusi\u00f3n en el congreso de Puebla una inciativa de ley para castigar la difusi\u00f3n de material \u00edntimo sin consentimiento.<\/p>\n

Iniciativa que se presentaria por \u00a0el diputado local de Morena Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez D\u00edaz, pide de 4 a 8 a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n para quien ejerza violencia digital, increment\u00e1ndose hasta en una mitad, si el delito es cometido por una persona con la que se tenga una relaci\u00f3n de afectividad o convivencia.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo al Instituto Nacional de Geograf\u00eda<\/strong> aproximadamente 9 millones de mujeres han vivido ciberacoso en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

Es hora de marcar un alto a esta modalidad de delitos.<\/p>\n

La Ley Olimpia es un recordatorio de que el\u00a0sexting<\/em>\u00a0y el intercambio de im\u00e1genes en pareja se debe practicar con cautela y responsabilidad. Pero sobre todo, busca proteger a quienes intenten abusar de la vulnerabilidad de las personas.
